Multi-site development system

Description: Generates public facing websites for clients by utilizing a custom configuration for each site running on Amazon AWS.

Power Soccer Speed Check

Verify the speed of a wheel chair does not exceed the rules set in Poser Soccer. Two different methods were used and I designed the hardware for these as well.

2D and 3D CMM systems, one a cartesion system and the other a polar system with flexible finger.

Internet connected general purpose vending machine for selling high value($100s) items of various sizes. Inventory could be remotely monitored.

Epitaxial Growth Chamber

Sealed vaccum chamber for growing semiconductor substrates. A distributed robotic system was used to move wafers between chambers.

Supercomputer Cabinet Management

Startup, monitoring, and reporting of all blades in the cabinet with multiple cabinet configurations.

Portable StO2 Medical Device

Portable device for measuring the StO2 level of a patient.

Aircraft Instrumentation

Elicits the system capabilities from all stake holders. Validate and then manage requirements changes.

GPS dog collar

Dog collar and long range (2 mile) RF remote showing distance and direction of the dog.

Carburetor Altitude Compensation

Electronically controlled vacuum pump that reduced pressure in the float bowl as altitude increased.

Windows Based PLC

Windows used for the HMI, created ladder logic interface that would be downloaded to the PLC board for execution.

Software Sales Website

Software sales checkout and download management custom branded for retailers.

Casino Poker Game

Casino players could optionally gamble on a statewide pot. Used a secure private network with custom protocol between casinos.

Casino Card Shuffler

Developed software for the first industrial duty multi-deck card shuffler.

Linear Free Piston Engine Management System

Real-time engine management controlling spark, compression ratio, and fuel. The piston position was determined by integrating the velocity captured by a sensor.

This Site

Mainly for academic reasons this is a static website hosted on AWS S3. The goal was to take a minimalist approach while taking advantage of reuse and hosting with a cost of pennies per month, being a low volume site. The pages are PHP using shared components such as the header and footer to allow reuse. A custom PHP script compiles the files into .html for upload to S3, a form of serverless PHP.
