Linear Free Piston Engine

In this application the engine was used as relay pumps for natural gas, running off the natural gas it was pumping. An air and refrigerant application were also developed. The engine end is a two stroke with compression ratio being adjusted by adjusting the vacuum on the back side of the engine piston.
